It includes only artists whose place in contemporary art has been confirmed; classics of modernism and historical painting are presented in other sections of the catalogue.

The core is Russian nonconformism and its legacy: Mikhail Shemyakin, Ernst Neizvestny, Vladimir Nemukhin, Boris Sveshnikov, Aron Bukh. A separate line is Moscow actionism and conceptualism: Oleg Kulik, Anatoly Osmolovsky, Anton Litvin, Yuri Shabelnikov. And artists of today: Alexander Chursin, Oleg Ustinov, Konstantin Batynkov, Sergey Sapozhnikov.
