About Don foundation
Don Foundation is an auction house and gallery: we collect, research and present art across eras and movements - from recognised masters to artists whose names are yet to be heard. We study the provenance of every work, safeguard its authenticity, and entrust it to those for whom art is not an investment but a calling.
We are driven by one principle - significance over fashion. To serve art and its connoisseurs with the measure of responsibility that the timeless demands - that is our mission.

2014Exhibition "Untitled, Voronezh"
As part of his first solo exhibition in Voronezh, Rostov artist Sergey Sapozhnikov presented a new series of Polaroid photographs, as well as ten large-format works from previous years. His unique approach to color led to comparisons with Renaissance masters. Each new photographic work is based on a unique performative situation, and often a unique sculptural installation created by the artist.
2014Exhibition "The Last Weekend at the Voronezh Sea"
Exhibition "The Last Weekend at the Voronezh Sea", together with the Voronezh Center for Contemporary Art. Participants are artists of the so-called "Voronezh new wave", offering a panoramic view of contemporary art in the capital of the Black Earth region from the 90s to the present day.
2016Exhibition "The Drama Machine" with Gazprombank Private Banking
Curator Irene Calderoni - Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo (Turin, Italy). Sapozhnikov was born in Rostov-on-Don in 1984 and is today one of the brightest representatives of the new generation of Russian artists. The inspiration for this series was an architectural landmark of his hometown - the Gorky Drama Theatre, designed by architects Vladimir Shchuko and Vladimir Gelfreikh in 1930.
