About the artist

A photographer and artist from Rostov-on-Don, one of the most internationally recognized Russian authors of his generation. In his studio he builds complex spatial constructions of boards, fabric and light, then photographs them – turning photography into something akin to painting and sculpture. A laureate of the Kandinsky Prize and a participant in major international exhibitions. He also works in performance and with the body and movement. The foundation’s catalogue holds one work.
