About the artist

An artist, a native of Rostov-on-Don, a member of the Rostov and Moscow underground and of the legendary group “Art or Death”. He works at the crossing of the Suprematist tradition and icon-painting imagery: he turns avant-garde forms into almost sacred signs and conducts a direct dialogue with Malevich. His painting is restrained, conceptually built and possessed of a strong sense of colour. The foundation’s catalogue holds one work.
