Love Parade-1

Size: 100 × 80 cm.

The canvas belongs to the artist's 'Love Parade' cycle, whose title refers to the eponymous electronic-music street parade that began in Berlin in 1989 and became one of the emblems of youth culture in the 1990s–2000s. Irina Grabkova is a contemporary artist from Rostov-on-Don who has taken part in exhibitions of the region's contemporary art. The subject of the parade is read through motifs of movement, crowd and shared rhythm that run through the cycle.
