The sheet belongs to the cycle Skrizhali (Tablets), in which the front pages of major newspapers are rendered in agglomerate, an artificial stone. The title alludes to the stone Tablets of the Covenant: a fleeting newspaper impression takes on the look of a monumental slab, and the daily press acquires the status of a fixed, almost sacral document. This work is based on the front page of the Spanish newspaper El Mundo. It continues Litvin's conceptual engagement with text, document and the media environment.
