Sea

Year:1999

1 100 $

Technique: Canvas, oil.
Size: 60 × 80 cm.

The marine is one of the two leading directions in the work of Alexey Adamov, a native of the seaside town of Taganrog and a graduate of the Grekov Art School in Rostov-on-Don. Painted in oil within the Russian realist tradition, the seascape attends to the shifting states of water, light and air. The seascape remains the artist's central motif, developing in parallel with his landscape painting.
