Spring

Author:Oleg Ustinov
Year:2009
In selections:Russian painting, Contemporary painting
540 $
Technique: Cardboard, mixed media.
Size: 70 × 100 cm.
“Spring” belongs to Ustinov's early Rostov period, connected with the “Toad and Devil” group. The seasonal motif is handled in mixed media on cardboard – in the deliberately “low,” handmade manner of this circle, which joined painting, graphics and collage with a trash-and-lubok aesthetic.
