About the artist

An Italian contemporary artist, born in Milan. He is known for an unusual technique: he paints a picture in full and then, layer by layer, repeats exactly the same image over it — many times over, achieving a strange, “synthetic” smoothness of surface. His images are anatomical, corporeal and disturbingly hyperreal. He has exhibited in European institutions; his works are in private and museum collections. The foundation’s catalogue holds four works.
