Svetlana Vladislavovna Golembovskaya (Bolzan) (1927-2016) – Soviet, Ukrainian sculptor of small-scale works. She was born on 28 July 1927 in Odesa. In 1945 she entered the Kyiv State School of Applied and Decorative Art. She was later transferred to the ceramics department of the M. B. Grekov Odesa Art School, from which she graduated in 1950. From 1951 she worked at the Kyiv Experimental Ceramic and Art Factory as a porcelain artist, creating small-scale sculptures. In 1964 she was invited to the Kyiv Art Glass Factory to the post of artist, where she worked until 1995. In the early 1970s Svetlana Vladislavovna was the first among the factory's artists to master the decorative technique “coloured crumb”. For decades she worked “on two fronts” – creating prototypes for serial production as a factory artist and, at the same time, numerous exhibition and gift works as an individual master. Svetlana Vladislavovna took part in many All-Union and international exhibitions in Yugoslavia, France, Italy, Canada, Burma, Japan, Austria, Germany, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Georgia, China.
