Olga Sergeevna Artamonova (1926–2006) – Soviet sculptor and artist. In 1954 she graduated with honours from MIPIDI. From 1955 to 1964 she worked as a sculptor at the Dmitrov Porcelain Factory in Verbilki. From 1952 Artamonova actively took part in all-Union, republican and Moscow exhibitions. Her works represented Soviet art in Copenhagen, Helsinki, Warsaw. In her work Artamonova very often turned to dance – folk and classical, solo and group – she created a whole series of original sculptures of dancing people. Olga Sergeevna painted her works herself, as she believed that this made it possible to achieve the integrity of the sculptural and painterly treatment of the piece. The master's works are held in the State Russian Museum, the Kuskovo Museum of Ceramics, the Gorky Art Museum, the Perm Art Gallery, the Oryol Picture Gallery, and in private collections in Russia and Europe.
