Pavel Mikhailovich Kozhin (1904–1975) – leading sculptor of the Dulyovo Porcelain Factory. The Dulyovo Porcelain Factory was founded in 1832 by the merchant Terenty Yakovlevich Kuznetsov (son of Yakov Kuznetsov) on the Dulyovo wasteland. Within its first 20 years of operation the enterprise became one of the leading manufacturers of porcelain wares in Russia. In 1864 Matvei Sidorovich Kuznetsov (son of Sidor Terentyevich and grandson of Terenty Yakovlevich) became the heir to the factory; under his management the enterprise reached its greatest development. From 1887 the Dulyovo factory was part of the Partnership for the Production of Porcelain and Faience Wares founded by Matvei Kuznetsov. In 1918 the factory was nationalised and renamed the Dulyovo Porcelain Factory named after the newspaper “Pravda”. In the Soviet period (1918–1991), more than 6500 people worked at the factory. During this time the factory was reconstructed, a paint factory and an art laboratory (1932) were established there; the shops were mechanised. USSR, Dulyovo Porcelain Factory (Dulyovo). Sculptor P.
