Sergey Petrovich Bocharov is a Russian artist and honorary member of the Russian Academy of Arts. As a production designer he took part in 18 feature films, including “Stalker”, “A Trip to Wiesbaden”, “Amusements of the Young”, “No Right to Fail” and “They Sat on a Golden Porch”. He is a laureate of the Grand Prix (France, 1989), the Grand Prix (Italy, Venice, 1991), the Grand Prix (Italy, Naples, 2002) and the “Golden Brush” (France, Paris, 2011, Grand Palais). As a portraitist he was commissioned by King Olav of Norway (1989), President Kim Il Sung of the DPRK (1987), Gianni Versace (1989), Paco Rabanne (1989), Elton John (1977) and Luciano Pavarotti (1991).
